New Generation is a fan-made album collection by Puerto Rican boyband Menudo. In 2007 it was announced that Menudo would return. The recasting of the band was profiled in a MTV reality series entitled Making Menudo that had launched as a primetime series on October 25, 2007, but was later pushed to afternoons due to low ratings. The series ended on November 20, 2007. The new members were Carlos Olivero (Chicago), Chris Moy (Bronx, NY), José Collazo (Pto Rico), José Monti Montanez (Caguas, Pto Rico), Emmanuel Pagan (Pto Rico). The group disbanded in early 2009.
